Motionlab partnered with ARAAI to create a motion design presentation video that makes the work of Hala, its AI voice assistant, visible to clinics and restaurants across the Arabian Gulf.

The goal: bring to life a service that happens entirely over the phone, while sticking to a very understated art direction.

ARAAI is a platform that makes sure clinics and restaurants in the Arabian Gulf never miss a call again, thanks to Hala, an AI voice assistant that answers, books appointments and manages reservations in real time.

Every call is handled instantly, with no waiting and nothing forgotten, for a smooth customer experience around the clock.

The challenge: showing what happens behind the scenes

You can’t see a voice assistant. The service plays out during a call, an invisible moment with no interface to film.

Our challenge was to build a video that could:

• make a purely voice-based service visible

• bring Hala to life without turning her into a caricature

• show real-world situations rather than a concept

• stick to understated, professional brand guidelines

• speak to two worlds: healthcare and restaurants

So we chose to tell the story through moments rather than explain a technology.

Our approach: clean motion design built around real situations

We created modern, dynamic and clean motion design, with a fast-paced narrative built around key moments: the call answered without a wait, the patient who doesn’t need to call back, the restaurant that no longer loses bookings on a busy night.

Every sequence was designed to stay true to the client’s brand guidelines, make the product easier to understand and turn a technical concept into a clear, engaging experience.

Our work focused on:

• the visual representation of the call and the response

• staging real business situations

• understated, premium art direction

• the pacing between problem and resolution

• a clear benefit in every sequence

The client was delighted with the result and approved the very first version of the video.

Why use motion design for an invisible service?

Some products have no interface, no gesture and no object to show. A voice assistant is one of them: everything happens in a conversation.

Motion design gives that conversation a visual form, shows the waiting time it saves and makes tangible a benefit that would otherwise remain an abstract promise.
