The challenge: explaining a technology you have to see to understand

A hologram is something you experience in person. Yet on a website, prospects need to grasp in a few seconds what the technology produces and where it can be used.

Our challenge was to build a video that could:

• present the full range of solutions

• clearly differentiate the various devices

• illustrate their real-world use cases

• convey the visual effect of holograms

• help prospects grasp the value before the first sales conversation even happens

The goal was not to simulate the hologram, but to make clear what it makes possible.

Our approach: immersive motion design

We created modern, immersive and dynamic motion design, with smooth storytelling and animations designed to capture the spectacular effect of holograms.

Every sequence was designed to showcase Holovisio’s technologies, simplify how they are presented and boost the commercial impact of its offer.

In particular, we worked on:

• visually distinguishing each device

• staging the use cases

• transitions between products

• the treatment of light and depth

• a brisk pace, suited to trade shows and event screens

Why use motion design for an immersive technology?

Filming a hologram rarely does it justice: cameras struggle to capture the depth and the effect you experience in person.

Motion design makes it possible to recreate that perception, isolate each device and show the context of use (a booth, a stage, a showroom) without depending on an on-site event shoot.

What this project shows
